We are the core team of subito mf
The story behind subito mf – by elena gonzalez:
I will never forget the moment when the idea for subito mf came to me:
I had lived in Zurich and had to go to Bern for a job as a replacement. In Bern at the train station I met a colleague, also an oboist, who lived in Bern and had to go to Zurich also as a replacement – for almost the same repertoire!
The absurdity of the situation and the resulting waste of time and money did not let me go. I had to do something!
And so the idea for subito mf was born.
I am an oboist, have various chamber music formations and play all over Switzerland.
My job at subito mf is on the one hand to contribute industry insights, i.e. to ensure that subito mf offers what is effectively needed in the industry. These needs must be analyzed and a solution found that can be implemented online.
After my diploma on jazz drums, I focused the first years completely on music making and played in numerous formations. After a few years my interest shifted in favour of entrepreneurial issues and since then I have been active in various projects and companies as founder, partner and project manager.
My job at subito mf is on the one hand to communicate with our users and make sure that everyone is happy. Furthermore, I plan the new features of the portal together with Elena and am responsible for the optimal programming.
In our family there are two tendencies since generations: Music/Art as well as Business, so both branches are very close to me. I am the one in the subito mf team without a creative business background. I originally come from business studies, I am a tax expert and run my own company, athanas&partner ag.
My job at subito mf is to bring in entrepreneurial inputs and processes, moreover I am sometimes the evil voice of rationality 🙂
We want to achieve an improvement of working conditions and access to a professional network by modern and up-to-date means.
Thereby we focus on 3 main topics:
Travel routes or expenses: Local musicians are more efficient than musicians who travel all over Switzerland. Who benefits from short travel distances?
- Musicians: Less lost and unpaid time
- Ensembles: Lower travel expenses
Presence in the market: Musicians should be able to present themselves in a central and professional platform! Who benefits from this network?
- Musicians: Strong presence and less effort for self-promotion and acquisition
- Ensembles: Large pool of suitable musicians that can be searched quickly and easily
Efficiency: Communication channels are kept short and the necessary information is available at all times. Who benefits from this?
- Musicians: Less communication effort, because the ensembles can get the relevant information directly from the system
- Ensembles: hardly any loss of time for searching for musicians, all information directly from the system
